Hey there,

I have a 1.18.1 Minecraft server working well so far, but I cannot get an outside connection to wake the server unless I turn off the inbound side of my firewall entirely, which I'm not alright with for obvious reasons.

What specifically do I need to allow through the firewall to make this a feasible thing without turning off the inbound side of my firewall entirely?

Thanks, Chris

AMP listens on the same port as the Minecraft server for sleep mode - so you just need to make sure the firewall rules governing the port are open (and are controlled by port number, not the application)

Hit the nail on the head.

I ended up figuring it out shortly after making that post, I meant to come back and delete it!

I appreciate your input nonetheless and hopefully this can be useful to someone in near future.

Thanks again, Chris
