I have found a solution to the problem stated below, so I do not need any response but I hope this might be useful for others in the same situation and you may want to look into it.
OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS | 7407MB RAM
Product Name/Version: AMP Release "Ganymede" - v2.1.1.2, built 30/04/2021 15:40
Problem Description: When managing a Valheim Plus instance and I add a Steam ID 64 to the administration box, it becomes impossible to manage the server, because:
- the general "Security" settings screen overlays the server-specific screens (see screen print) and
- the "Server" settings in the instance-specific management menu disappears.
Steps to reproduce:
Step 1: Create new Valheim Plus server. Step 2: Right-click the server instance in "Instances", select "Manage" Step 3: Select "Configuration > Server" Step 4: Click "Add" button next to "Admin players" and PASTE a valid Steam64 ID in the box which appears. Click OK. Step 5: Click "Return to instances. Step 6: Right-click the server instance in "Instances", select "Manage"
The screen now shows a jumbled image mix of the "Security" screen and the management screen (see attached screen).
When selecting the "Configuration" item in the menu to the left, no "Server" menu item is visible.
Actions taken to resolve so far:
After quite some experiments on newly created servers, the following method works.
A. Click Instances B. Right-click the problematic instance, select "Stop instance" C. Right-click the problematic instance, select "Browse Datastore" D. Go to the folder "Valheim/896660/Data" E. Right-click the file adminlist.txt and thrash it. F. Click Instances, right-click the problematic instance and select "Start instance".
The instance can now be managed as before.
