Hi All, I have a fairly new minecraft server running, only a week old running on Server 2016

Logging in today ive noticed that the instance is running but im getting the notification on the bottom right of the screen saying Minecraft instance starting and it never goes away.

I restarted AMP and made sure the minecraft instance was shutdown before doing this. AMP came up perfectly fine but if I try to start the minecraft instance in the web console I get this error ''ADS cannot start this instance as it is a non-user-managed daemon instance. This feature is not yet fully implemented.''(the amp instance manager wont start it either) I have been able to manually start the instance by starting the service manually.

Any ideas?

You've incorrectly set the Minecraft instance to be a service using the GUI application. Only ADS should be a service.

Awesome, Thanks Mike I backed up all the files then recreated the instance and made sure I did it correctly this time. Appreciate the help
