Backups Notification Window Stuck - No Console History

Recently installed AMP about a month ago previously had McMyAdmin, and also upgraded to 1.8.0.0 last week. I've noticed a few quirks that haven't been able to resolve. Also running Minecraft 1.14.1 as our group wanted to jump onto a new world with 1.14, can't really rollback to 1.13.x sadly. Running this on Windows 10 x64, not sure if Windows OS version would make any difference though.

  • The console window doesn't display any history (Have it set to 60 mins in settings) Ctrl+F5 does nothing.
  • The backup notifications stay stuck on screen for hours, not sure if it's a GUI bug or the backup process is getting stuck.
  • The Users list seems to always be inaccurate (No one was online when I took this pic... sorry)

Did you just upgrade from a previous version?

Yes I upgraded from 1.7.5.0.

The console and user lists had the same problem in 1.7.5.0, but the Backups didn't have an issue until I upgraded to 1.8.0.0.

A few hours later when I got home to a completely different computer and the Backup Progress window is still stuck on screen.. also note a user just joined the server as I was going to snap a screenshot and their user account was not added into the User list.

Then you 100% still have a cache issue. Are you using a caching proxy like Cloud flare at all?

No I have no proxy in use at all.. the server is run off my home internet on a desktop I have at home. Even doing direct connection via IP Address on the local LAN seeing the same issues. Same goes for opening the web gui on the localhost on the server itself.

I don't think it's a caching issue.

If you press F12 and go to the 'Console' tab in the developer view, are there any errors showing?

I don't see any errors in the F12 console.

Also your anti-spam thing is way too aggressive it won't let me post a screenshot in this post. I had to post with text only, then edit it later and add the image.

The anti-spam (Akismet) doesn't like images from domains not on the whitelist, it's best to use imgur.

Can you check AMPs log to see if the backup task stalled/errored out? The notifications can be removed by restarting the instance in the meanwhile.

Also which MC server type do you use? If the console output gets too heavily modified by a given mod/plugin the AMP loses the ability to track users.

Got it.. I'll switch to imgur if I need to post future screenshots.

I'll have to check out the logs for AMP when I get home from work I don't have the instance manager opened on my firewall to access it from work.

To answer your third question I'm running a completely Vanilla server running 1.14.1. Not sure if Mojang changed something with the user logins/logoff formatting text so AMP isn't picking that up?

I looked through the AMP logs nothing really stands out as a glaring issue.. i saved the most recent from the past few days when that backup issue started showing up. Maybe you can spot something I'm not seeing?

Too many logs to be useful or helpful. I'd only want to see the section immediately following taking a backup.

Re console history, that's actually not in use right now since the switch to using WebSockets. It's something that's going to come back later.

I am also seeing the same issue. I have a schedule set to run a backup in the early hours of the morning. When I log on next, the notification is stalled out. Not sure if it's worth its own topic or not.

What logs do you need?

You may need to empty your browser cache because the latest version has an actual cancel button on the backups.

I see the same thing after I clear the cache or view it in Incognito mode in Chrome.

In that case just restart the affected instance(s).
