I have a fresh AMP install on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS. I create an instance of type "Minecraft Pocket/Windows 10 Edition" I then select the offical Bedrock server and download it. I can see that it has downloaded the executable.

However when i try and start via AMP nothing happens. (Can't find any messages in console or logs) If I start at the command line there were some missing depends that i've now installed. I can start the (bedrock) server at the command line with this command LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_server and the server boots and I can connect. If I then stop it and try from AMP again, then nothing happens.

If you change the log level for the AMP Instance to 0, start it and check AMPs log file, what does it say?

I've changed the log level (I think) Below is the log for me downloading the bedrock server and then trying to start it via AMP 3 times. After this I manually started at the command-line and it started without error.

[11:36:58] [Minecraft:admin Debug] : Downloading from https://minecraft.azureedge.net/bin-linux/bedrock-server-1.8.1.2.zip, saving to ./Minecraft/bedrocktemp.zip
[11:36:58] [Core:admin Debug]     : Downloading https://minecraft.azureedge.net/bin-linux/bedrock-server-1.8.1.2.zip, saving to /tmp/tmp1924a626.tmp
[11:37:02] [Core:admin Debug]     : Moving /tmp/tmp1924a626.tmp to ./Minecraft/bedrocktemp.zip...
[11:37:02] [Core:admin Debug]     : Running command line: "unzip -o "bedrocktemp.zip"" from "./Minecraft/"
[11:38:12] [API:admin Activity]   : Starting the application.
[11:39:34] [API:admin Activity]   : Starting the application.
[11:42:36] [API:admin Activity]   : Starting the application.

(To enable monitoring i changed Monitoring.LogLevel=0 in the AMPConfig.conf file)

Ah this isn't a bedrock specific issue - in the configuration disable the Startup EULA check and it'll behave.

That's done it. Thanks.

When I start it now I'm left with a persistent Notification in the bottom right corner that says 'Starting Server', even though the server came up.

That's expected right now on the standard release, Nightly has an update for the new log format.
