Hello, i understand there is a custom server type but i can't seem to get it to work, how do i start it with just

java -jar server.jar

where, server, jar is my own custom jar

Custom startup arguments For use only with the 'Custom' server type. Add {JarFile} to insert the selected jar file, and {Memory} for the selected memory limit

Custom normalizer regex The regular expression to match all incoming lines against to normalize log entries.

Custom normalizer replacement What to replace line entries with if they match the above regex.

For custom startup arguments. normalizer regex and replacement do i need to fill these in at all? Like, this? enter image description here

The startup arguments do not require java to be entered. Enter something like -Xmx{Memory}M -jar {JarFile} nogui without java and it'll work. That's because it will choose the Java version selected from the dropdown menu under Java and Memory.

The other options should not be necessary, unless you have a specific configuration.

You don't need 'Custom' mode. Just use "Official" or the most similar server type and pick your Jar file from the drop down list.
