OS Name/Version: CentOS release 6.9 (Final) Linux 2.6.32-696.3.1.el6.x8664 #1 SMP x8664

Product Name/Version: [Info] AMP Instance Manager v1.5.0.0 built 02/11/2017 13:55 [Debug] Release spec: Release - built by CUBECODERS/BuildBot on CCL-DEV

Problem Description: After upgrading to 1.5.0.0 from 1.4.8.2 AMP fails to start i.e. no webserver gets spawned.

Looking into /home/AMP/.ampdata/instances/MCMA/LastAMPException.txt I see the following error:

Temporary fix is to either:

  • Upgrade to the current Nightly
  • OR rename the plugins folder, start AMP, rename it back again.

Getting exactly same error on debian 9.

Started after I updated, then I tried a new instance, which ran initially, but after a restart.. Well.. Nothing.. I can start the ADSInstance just fine, just not the Minecraft one.. Also I noticed that when it ran as a new instance, it couldn't restore my backup...

Interesting, does a new instance have the same issue?

corey posted this 08 November 2017

Nightly build fixed the issue!

Mike... You're awesome... :) Thank you! - btw.. Took me a while to realise that I wasn't running the 1.5 instance manager... Had it in my mind that it had upgraded together with my instances...

Till Next time.. Take Care...
