Setting up HTTPS on Windows

Really sorry if this is a duplicate post. Unfortunately searching HTTPS brings up everything with a hyperlink.

I'm attempting to setup HTTPS on Windows 11 and following https://github.com/CubeCoders/AMP/wiki/Setting-up-secure-HTTP-with-AMP#windows.

I have got a DNS name for my server, a Let's Encrypt certificate generated by CertBot, converted it to a .pfx file using openssl so I can import the private key into Windows, added it to the local machines personal store, updated AMPConfig.conf to set Webserver.CertificateSerial= to my certificates serial number then started AMP.

On the machines local browser attempting to access https://127.0.0.1:8080/ results in Chrome saying ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

I've attached my log output below which doesn't seem to show any errors.

Is there another setting I need to change?

The best way right now actually to set up HTTPS for AMP on Windows is by installing IIS and configuring it as a reverse proxy - and then using Certify the Web to get Letsencrypt on it renewing automatically.

Unfortunately I've yet to write up a full guide for this. It's much more difficult on Windows than on Linux where AMP automates everything.

Thank you for your help on that Mike, got a reverse proxy running in IIS and have AMP happily working over HTTPS. Also got Certify The Web installed and hopefully it sorts out certificate renewals for me.
