Unable to Start any Minecraft Instances

I cannot seem to get any Minecraft instances to load.

I have rebuilt the Server and installed AMP again, I can create the Instance and manage it. I then don't even change any settings, i leave it as Official, Stable, 1.16.3..

I have also tried Setting to Spigot but also errors, On oringinal start i agreed to the EULA , it downloaded the server but failed to start, i have it set to Auto select the Jar and i can see the jar in the drop down and have tried manually selecting also.

When i try to start i have the "unable to start server, The Minecraft Server stopped within 5 seconds of starting, this is not a fault with AMP"In Console i get the following when trying to start.

Unless i'm missing something i cannot see any other posts with similar.

This is a fresh Debian 10 install, and this time was installed using the Quick install method of bash from the Quick Start Debian option, i have installed nothing other than this on the box, so all dependencies should have been completed script, i have installed nothing other than this on the box, so all dependencies should have been completed by the install script. AMP Release s v2.0.6.6

I'm having the same problem.

Fresh Debian 10 install in a VPS. When I create a minecraft instance and run it, it crashes instantly.

Found a fix:

Update JRE to the latest:

Just run as root: apt-get install default-jre

I have Just updated my JAVA version on my machine and this seems to have got my instance to run (not tested to see if its running on a MC client yet but the instance shows the MC server has started at-least and no errors on console while loading.

When checking java -version from ssh it was using open-jdk 1.8.0_265-b01.

As a test ive tried "apt install default-jre"

This then gets openjdk version 11.0.8. and the server started up.

I don't know if this is going to break more things going forward as just installed it to test starting the instance which at present "appears" to work..

Maybe there is a java bug with the AMP installed version that is causing this? i tried installing the VM 5-6 times with the same results before this, i installed nothing else, other than using the setup or manual or Advanced setup with the same results each time.

Ill update if i see any bugs from these changes when i continue using later.

Thats funny, i left my desk to go work on something before submitting the reply and you had done the same thing as me.. i was reluctant to try at first as wanted to keep everything as AMP has setup and unsure if this will effect things in the future.
